NBCC Contact Hours
Earn NBCC credit by attending the 2020 ASCA conference. The American School Counselor Association (ASCA) has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 1005. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. ASCA is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.

Graduate Credit
ASCA is pleased to partner with Lindenwood University  (St. Charles, Mo.) to help school counselors attending the conference earn one or two graduate credits. The tuition cost is $75 per credit hour. School counselors are encouraged to contact their professional development office to ensure the credits meet their district's approval process for graduate credit. Current graduate students are advised that this credit may not meet your university's requirement and may not be transferable into your degree-seeking program. Please consult with your program adviser before registering. To earn credit, you will need to complete the following steps:

  1. Visit https://applylu.lindenwood.edu/applicationws.asp, complete the enrollment form and pay with your credit card. (Tuition fees are nonrefundable)
  2. Fully participate in conference activities
  3. Complete the assignments (posted soon) and email by the July 24, 2020.

You can access an official grade report through the Lindenwood University student portal. Enter your username and password. The password will be provided from the university within 3-5 business days of registering. Go to My Grades on the left column under Administrative Services. Grade Type – select Final Grades. The document populated is printable. This is considered an official document from the university. If it is not sufficient for your school district, a transcript will need to be requested through this link
